Following an initial slope stability assessment, TRAC requested ARQ  for additional investigations and assessments as recommended in the final report of the initial assessment. ARQ visited critical slopes identified in the initial assessment, to further assess remediation measures. On site, a few shallow slip failures were noted and TRAC notified ARQ of two very large boulders that came loose before the site visit. ARQ evaluated the slopes individually and proposed suitable solutions to retain material on the slopes. Some of these solutions included pinned down mesh systems, soil nail and shotcrete walls and rock fall catchment fences.
