Kyle joined ARQ Dams in December 2022 and is currently pursuing his Honours degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Pretoria.

His technical exposure also includes conceptual and detailed dam design, dam rehabilitation, flood hydrology analysis, flood line determination, hydraulic analysis of canals, concrete reinforcement detailing, finite element modelling and analysis using MIDAS, tailings dam break modelling in FLO-2D, and dam break analysis using HEC-RAS.

In addition, Kyle has practical site experience in construction monitoring of mechanically stabilised earth (MSE) walls and other civil structures. He has also been involved in several Dam Safety Inspections, providing support to the Approved Professional Person (APP).
