Atterbury Road Bridge No B0077

In the past two 13m wide bridges about 75m long took Atterbury road over the N1 freeway. These bridges were demolished for various reasons and a new 4 span bridge, 42m wide and 83m long was built. Special care needed to be taken with the phasing of the construction in order to accommodate the traffic over the bridge. Precast concrete U beams were incorporated in the deck construction.
