This is a 53m long, two span bridge over the N1 freeway. The original bridge was 13.6m wide. The widened deck became 27m wide and there are two triangular shaped tapers added on the south due to the new single point interchange configuration. The widening incorporated precast concrete U beams. These kept interference with the traffic on the N1 to a minimum during construction.
