This is a 53m long, two span bridge over the N1 freeway. The original bridge deck was 17.4m wide and the widened deck is 27m wide. 3m wide triangular shaped flares were also added at each of the four corners to facilitate the new single point interchange. The widening incorporated precast concrete U beams in the deck that kept interference with the traffic on the N1 to a minimum during construction.
