Dolomite

ARQ is increasingly involved in Dolomite Stability Assessment investigations, conducting feasibility and design phased investigations as well as compiling Dolomite Risk Management Plans (DRMP).  ARQ successfully consulted on multiple D4 designated dolomite sites in order to gain approval from the appropriate authorities to develop the proposed sites.  The D4 approvals were conducted in conjunction with Dr Kobus Venter who created the geological model, Alan Parrock for the geotechnical model, Hendri Geldenblom of Dekker and Geldeblom responsible for the  structural model and Dr Fritz Wagner for the peer review.  These professionals are all leading experts in the respective field of dolomite and D4 approval.

In addition to the above ARQ conducted Dolomite Stability Assessment investigations on various project; York Timbers in Sabie, Rasslouw, Eramia, Kerk Sonder Mure in Midstream and the New Momentum Building, to name a few.
