Mayor’s office in Windhoek is a 5 storey office block consisting of twin towers connected by a 20m span, 820mm thick, pre-stressed slab.

The substructure consists of a basement and retaining wall around the perimeter of the structure. Coffer slabs were designed on each floor. The roof consists of a slab over the twin towers and an arch zinc roof over the pre-stressed slab section. The gutters around the office block were incorporated into the very eccentric 1m high ring beam that we also designed and detailed.
